Restrictive covenants have been used as contracts between employers and employees to protect their investment in the employee capital and their confidential information. Whether there is a reasonable limitation involved in the restrictive covenant regarding prohibited future employment will be examined and determined if they are reasonable in scope.
Restrictive covenants are binding contracts between employees and their employers in which the employers seek to protect their investments and employee capital. Generally these restrictive covenants are generally upheld by courts generally in the form of an injunctive relief in which the employee is restricted from violating this covenant.
