Feds indict 2 men in separate child porno cases
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A federal grand jury has returned indictments against two Alabama men for receiving and distributing child pornography.
Federal prosecutors in Birmingham announced the indictment Tuesday against 39-year-old Patrick Lanning of Attalla. U.S. Attorney Alice Martin alleges that Lannin possessed and distributed the illicit material over the internet.
In a separate case, Martin said a Pell City man was also charged with possessing images of child pornography. 40-year-old Dale Morgan Hale was charged following an investigation by the FBI and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
